W F Kuchenbecker Dies at Tombstone

Tombstone residents awoke to news of the sudden death of W F Kuchenbecker age 67 a Tombstone business leader and former mayor born in Germany who served in the New Mexico legislature and helped western New Mexico development. He died of apoplexy while retiring for the night and his body was shipped to Los Angeles for burial with his family.

Mrs Griffin Charms and Mr Ramona at Penitentiary concert

Rollins Griffin gave a fine voice performance in Santa Fe praised for her singing of Puccini arias and Gyp sy Song from Maytime. The program included The Sea Hath Its Pearls and Irish Love Song among others. The couple agreed to perform at the Penitentiary bringing a moving musical message to the convicts. Mr Grun will leave for Los Angeles after train service resumes.

Albuquerque Shriners arrive in Gallup by Standard Pullman Santa Fe No 1 to inspect Sands and prepare for traveling candidates. After work and refreshments the brothers depart on No 10, inviting locals to welcome the visitors and keep dust down for the occasion.

Sneddon Family Returns to Gallup From Long Trip

Sneddon and family of the Gallup Tin and Hardware Co have returned home after an extended visit across the middle west east and south. They were accompanied by J S Bowie and family and Miss Agnes Bowie from Bowie Col. on their return to Gallup where they plan to stay for some time.

Gallup Public Schools Show Strong Progress in New Term

In Gallup laboring classes are honored with a suspended business day turned recreation. A march at sunrise showcased tradesmen from the city while music and speeches at the park offered labor talks. The Gibson ball game, dances at Palmer Ketner Jr Post, and a Spanish American ball followed a day of social visits and celebration.
