Parish hall bids sought for Sacred Heart Parish project
Bids will be received on brick and stone work for the new parish hall. Rev Fr Kunkel of Gallup NM has the plans and specifications. Miss Catherine Brown, daughter of Mr and Mrs Sam Brown, is visiting her parents for the summer. she teaches in Globe AZ and plays organ in the Episcopal church there.

Flag Day plan and Prohibition push in Gallup
The Gallup chapter of the Red Cross will fly a flag from the schoolhouse for Flag Day on June 14. Rev J I Sedar of the New Mexico Anti Saloon League toured Gallup collecting funds and assessing candidates for a prohibition senator. He urged electing a dry state supporter by instructing delegates at primaries and county convention. A local store advertised Edison Diamond Disc phonographs to draw attention.
