Sanchez visit ends then Sanchez to Los Angeles for heart treatment
Mr and Mrs Abelicio Sanchez of Belen visited Mrs David Garcia this week. Mrs Sanchez is a Garcia daughter. After the visit the couple went to Los Angeles where Mrs Sanchez will receive treatment for heart trouble. Corporal Sanford reports that registration is not a barrier to enlistment, but drafted men cannot be Wagon Team for Sale. Two mares about 1200 lbs each and a wagon with gear are offered by M Jones of Gallup. F S Lawrence of Lawrence Grocery was in California on business the past week.

Flagstaff Lodge Sets July 3 Celebration Plans
The Flagstaff Lodge of Elke outlines a July 3 parade and Governor Campbell speech. Events include broncho busting, horse and auto races, and many Indian races with prizes. Indians invited to camp with provisions and bring saddles for a big parade. Mrs Muller, her sister, and James Karigan family travel to California. Theda Bara passed through Gallup en route to Los Angeles and met locals who praised her visit.
