Three Teens Rob New York Store in Night Break-In

Three youths ages 16 to 17 burglarized the New York Store taking suits, cases, collars, shoes, hats, jewelry and cash. Undersheriff Ray Coon and Special Officer F E Doty tracked the suspects to the north side, recovered most goods, and arrested Floriano Lloyd Henry Vargas and George Cavantes. They appeared before Judge Ryan and were sent to the State Reform School for two to three years.

Auto Turned Over Near Coal Basin Injures Three

An auto party on the Straightaway near Coal Basin overturned Thursday night trapping occupants. Fred Cabiggio, two Casno brothers, and Garoutte were in the car with one Casno boy hurt on the head and hospitalized. The others escaped with minor bruises.
