Gallup Adopts Ordinances on Taxi and Junk Shop Licenses
The 1916 Gallup town council passes Ordinance No. 93 taxing auto owners for hire carriage within town limits and setting a 25 dollar annual license fee. It also enacts Ordinance No. 5 amending Junk Shop licensing with a 26 dollar annual license fee and bans operation without license. Repeals conflicting parts and states enforcement.
