Father Charged With Misconduct With Daughter
Frank Zinky was bound over to the district court by Judge R. Edlin on eight counts of misconduct with his 16 year old daughter, accuser Katie Mihulski. Wartime Christmas Rules For Merchants Adopted
The Council of National Defense with the National Chamber of Commerce and the National Retail Dry Goods Association announced regulations to allow Christmas giving without harming war needs. Missing Woman Reported To Hartford Police
Charles Carlson notified authorities last evening to be alert for Marsha Hubbard of Haddam. She is to be taken to the Connecticut Hospital for the Insane. She stands about five feet eleven inches tall and is around 40 years old. A later update said she had been seen in Hartford and police were following up.

Joseph Gleason, Civil War veteran from Portland, had his funeral from his Gildersleeve home, with Rev. Dr. O. H. Raftery officiating and burial at Indian Hill cemetery under Mansfield Post G. A. R.
