Adventist Elder Amasa Morse Dies at 103 in Connecticut
Stafford Springs March 15 Elder Amasa Morse long time Adventist circuit preacher died yesterday aged 103. If he reached May 8 he would be 104, the oldest man in Connecticut. Morse joined the Adventists in 1834 and was ordained in the Millerite branch. For 60 years he preached with last sermon at Springfield camp ground in 1911. he lived with daughter Mrs Walker and is survived by a son in Akron Ohio and a daughter.

Waterbury Fire Destroys Concert Hall Building
A blaze began about 2 30 yesterday in the Buckingham building at Grand and Bank streets and burned until 10 pm. The concert hall sustained heavy damage and much of the roof collapsed. Offices on upper floors and lower shops suffered from water and smoke. Estimated loss runs about 75000 dollars. Fire officials were overcome by smoke but recovered by nightfall.
