Autoist Fined For Passing Trolley In New Britain

Pat N. Humphreys, president of public works in New Britain, fined 10 with 11.50 costs after pleading that stopping ten feet from a trolley car was impractical. Once the matter proceeds, Humphreys faces possible September prosecution or appeal outcomes. A second local case, a resident charged with intoxication, resulted in a $1 fine and $2 costs.
