Will contest in Haddam settled with heirs withdrawing appeal
The probate fight over the will of Denison W. Clarke ends as the heirs Henry C. Clark and Jonathan W. Clark withdraw their appeal from the order probating the will. The estate, once valued around 75,000, later narrowed to 40,000 to 50,000 after discovering worthless securities. Carrie Converse received the life use and non cash legacies, with eventual division to Haddam Congregational churches.
