Death of Shorty Higgins Brakeman at 34
Lycurgus Higgins known as Shorty Higgins dies of pneumonia at his home after a week long illness. He was a brakeman on the Carleabad to Pecos run for years. He leaves a wife and two children. burial to be in Clovis with family present. Higgins belonged to the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen.
