Soldier Gaines Weir Laid In State Funeral Here

The body of Gainex Weir was brought to Carlsbad from Camp Dix New Jersey where he died last week. Aged 22 he lay in state in his uniform with the flag, and Masons from Lovington led the funeral cortege to the distant burial. Surviving him are his parents two brothers and four twin sisters.
