American Airmen Land at Cologne Rhine Front

American airmen reached Cologne on the Rhine last Thursday in a dispatch via Copenhagen to Politiken and Exchange Telegraph. The mission, commanded by General Rhodes, will depart Saturday for Spain and German headquarters as announced by Marshal Foch. Secretary Baker cabled congratulations to General Pershing and the American army in France.

Death of Wade Van Wait at Metropolitan hotel

Wade Van Wait, about 31, died of Brights disease at the Metropolitan hotel Thursday afternoon. He came here with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Van Wait from Nara Visa New Mexico seeking relief, but died suddenly despite apparent improvement. The body will be shipped tonight to Evansville Wisconsin, and his parents will return to Nara Visa.
