Warrinogo New Mexico November 6 Eleven of sixteen Lincoln county precincts vote dry with 640 to 215 in favor of prohibition. The remaining five precincts are small and expected to report dry results.
In Roswell Chaves County voters approve a prohibition amendment by about 75 percent turnout slightly above normal. The measure receives strong support, while the judicial amendments appear less decisive as results come in from the local election.
In San Miguel county precinct returns show East Las Vegas with a strong majority for the amendment and the old town voting against it. Final tallies indicate 170 yes and 292 no in the old town, while East Las Vegas favored the amendment by a large margin.
