Three Kronstadt warship demonstrations were announced but produced no unrest as Petrograd waited. Cowman Arrested for Murder in Rio Arriba Case

A man named Homan was arrested on murder charges linked to the death of Thomas Lyons. Authorities say the suspect carried matches and was connected to incidents in New Mexico and Texas before arriving in El Paco.

MEN WHO REGISTER MAY BE NOTIFIED IN TWO WEEKS

General Crowder told Congress the government will not grant broad exemptions for draft workers or territories and will render exemptions individually. Drafted men will enter training camps by September first, with selections to start within two weeks of registration to speed exemption work. Jim Morris Jess Musick and Marshall Thomasson, from Rocky Arroyo, are in city for purchases and to fulfill registration duties and plan to return home tomorrow.

Mexican Gunboat Officials Loot American Schooner

The American fishing schooner Arcas was boarded by four crew from Mexican gunboats off Tehuantepec on May 31 and looted of all belongings. Captain MacDonald of the Areas reported the incident.
