Wrecked Car Repaired by Local Party at Avalon
Ray V. Davis and Messrs Ben Christian Rev Barb J F Hart and M L Hughes visited Avalon this forenoon and after inspecting Mr Newell s wrecked car they removed two wheels and the fender then towed the vehicle away The top was smashed and it turned over breaking wheels and fender on the left side George Sellmyer banker at Lakewood ferried Mrs Newell and children home Rev Barb and Mr Newell came in another auto The car suffered heavy damage with one rear wheel smashed and another badly damaged The ladies were calm and credited with carrying a charm that helped them survive the accident
