John Rameau died here last night at 106 years six months, believed to be the state’s oldest man. Born in Quebec in November 1814, he worked as a wood chopper until four years ago.

Harry G. Wright an optometrist from Salem Massachusetts was bound over in Manchester New Hampshire police court for advocating the overthrow of the U S Government at a last night meeting. He pleaded not guilty and was held in a 3000 dollar bail for the September term of the Superior court.
Miss Dorothea Clark daughter of Col. John C. Clark married Paul Noyes Farnham at 10 o’clock Saturday forenoon in the Clark home. Rev. F J Richards performed the double ring ceremony with 18 relatives present. The bride wore white organdie and carried a white and yellow bouquet, the rooms were decorated in white and yellow. A wedding breakfast followed and the couple planned a short wedding tour before residing at 49 Pleasant Street St Johnsbury.
