Search for Leon Regan's Body Sunday
Byron Curtis and about 75 volunteers from the city plan a Sunday afternoon search for the body of 14 year old Leon Hepan, adopted son of Mr and Mrs Henry Gage of Orleans, who drowned in the Black River over two months ago. Curtis asks volunteers to meet at 1 pm in the YMCA rooms. ambulances and a truck with boats and gear will aid the hunt. Vermont Guard Captain Reginald Buzzell urged his men to join, boosting the search force. If Sunday proves fruitless, organizers will seek an investigation into foul play from States Attorney Frank Thompson and raise funds to support the effort.
