Bagby Undertaking In Vermont Car Collision
George R Bagby and Mrs Messenger were traveling from Chester to Cambridge when a butterfly struck the chauffeur in the eye causing loss of control and a collision with a telegraph pole. The car left the ground six inches and hung suspended. Mrs Messenger recovered from a daze in about an hour.
