Alimony Granted in 1920 Newport Court Case
The court ordered Mrs Ada Prime to receive one half of the property valued at 95,267.26 after a divorce from Dr Meryl Prime. Including bank deposits, war savings, bonds, and mortgage assets, the total alimony noted is 16,685.69 with 16,000 distributed among parties and a 511 expense deduction for litigation. The decision dated January 22, 1920, was presided by judge S. Moulton in Newport.
