Aged man frostbitten found at St Johnsbury station
Ezra Thomas, 76, from Michigan, was found severely frostbitten at St Johnsbury station after wandering on tracks toward Cambridge Junction. He was treated by Dr McSweeney, questioned by Chief Finley, and to be sent to his daughter's home in Cambridge. He arrived last night from Montreal and was helped by Officer Colburn before police arranged further care. His daughters are Mrs Henry Disotell of Cambridge and Mrs Arthur Hall of Burlington. Nearly 200 teachers attend Caledonia County Teachers' Association at St Johnsbury Academy with a full program including speeches on Americanization and democracy and a county spelling contest. The meeting opens Thursday afternoon and runs through Friday.
