Ratification Split Among Vermont Voters in Northeastern County
A Bennington Banner poll of 100 voters in northeastern Vermont shows two oppose ratification in any form, eighteen favor ratification with the Ledge reservation, thirty favor ratification without reservation, and fifty favor immediate ratification with compromise reservations. The survey suggests Vermont favors ratification with reservations to avoid American troop commitments without U.S. consent. Academy notes follow with teacher changes, a Steinert piano gift, and student activities including a 214-voice chorus and Bayley Prize finals.
