Newport Municipal court convened with Judge W W Wright. Levi Powers of Holland was fined 15 and costs for cruelty to animals. Bert Breault of Brownington fined 5 and costs for failure to send children to school. Joseph Lavoi of Newport Town fined 5 and costs for not sending son Hector to school. Pershing Receives Warm Boston Welcome During Inspection
General Pershing arrived in Boston for an official inspection of the Northeast Department and the Yankee division headquarters.
