On Tuesday morning a nine and a half pound boy arrived for Mrs Virgie Block who is staying with her sister in Alta Vista. A daughter was born Wednesday morning to Mr. and Mrs. H C Williams weighing seven and a half pounds. A baby girl born last Friday evening to Mr. and Mrs. J W Riley three and a half miles west of town. On Monday morning a six pound boy joined Mr. and Mrs. O B Orm at their residence west of town.

Woodmen Dance draws large crowd with praised music

Bond sale seals Valencia County financing and plans
The Valencia County commissioners approved a 15 000 dollar bond sale to E H Rollins & Sons of Denver for 5000 dollars in 6 percent current expense bonds and 10000 dollars in 5 percent courthouse bonds at par. The issue funds will cover county indebtedness from 1905. Plans for a new two story courthouse were approved with bids to be invited.
