Freddie Meyer Sevens Survives Pigeon Nest Accident
Freddie Meyer seven year old son of Sheriff and Mrs Meyer fell from a shed roof and plunged into a tin oil can causing a deep gash on his leg. A surgeon sewed the wound without anesthetic and Freddie remained brave. He is recovering well and will soon be as good as new.

Woman kicked by horse near Es tancia
Mrs. D. B. Tompkins, about ten miles southwest of Es tancia, was hospitalized after a horse kicked her in the face. The hoof tore flesh from the cheek, requiring thirteen stitches to close the wound. She was recovering well in a late report.
