Mrs Cede Ann Graham died suddenly at her home near Lake View on October 22. Born January 8 1832 she was in her 83rd year. She joined Mt Vernon Baptist church later moving to Olive Branch near Latta and Buck Swamp near Port. Funeral held at Buck Swamp with Rev A Finch, body laid to rest at dawn. She was a devoted wife and mother and friend to all who knew her.
