Tragedy Near Blacksburg as Woman Fires on Couple

A tragic shooting occurred Sunday near Blacksburg on the Rutherfordton and Chester road. Lily Duncan, carrying a 23 year old child, was shot by Frances Sarratt, resulting in the child's death. The coroner's inquest found the shooting justified as part of a jealousy case. Tra Sarratt is at large after the incident.
