Civic League Notes Aims for City Beautiful Efforts
The oyster supper at Town Hall drew good turnout and a small sum. Music by Misses Baughman and Browser pleased attendees. Civic League thanks Meadams Michaux Evans and Ewing for cooking and helpers. Now Dillon, county seat of a new county, should pursue beautifying the Court House grounds with early fundraising. Regular meeting set for Thursday at 4 in Dr Michaux’s office.
