Court House Commission Selects Architect for 90000 Dollar Building
The Dillon county court house commission held a busy Monday session in two parts with subcommittees. W A Edwards of Atlanta was chosen to consult on plans for a new county court house costing about 90000 dollars. Edwards, a Carolina-born architect, has designed several local courthouses. Subcommittees will inspect Edwards projects in other counties to guide Dillon while aiming for a unique design. The facility will include water, sewerage and steam heating.

Boy Accidentally Killed in Belton Area
A four or five mile south of Belton, Monith Erskine Hlain, five year old son of W. Erskine, was instantly killed by an accidental gun discharge while playing with a firearm at his grandparents home. The incident occurred as the hammer slipped causing the gun to discharge into his stomach. He was described as a bright child. The Belton Herald reports the accident in a brief, local notice.
