Two Held for Murders of Manning the Tome in Aug 26 Case

Luther C Crapee and County Commissioner Dan Ff Padgett faced murder charges in Manning the Tome case. A warrant was issued, a preliminary hearing held, and habeas corpus actions planned. Geo Warren hired to prosecute, Major W S Tillinghast and the Hiera to defend. A prominent local figure, Lone War, was wounded during a dispute between the women involved. he later died at a nearby hospital. Details previously published in The Herald.
