Ford Sails Through Air At Curve Near Parkton
A Ford touring car swerved at a curve near the Robeson Cumberland line at Parkton this morning, rolled over and settled on its side. Both occupants escaped serious injury while one was ejected into a ditch. Eyewitnesses W F George and T W Paltz of Fayetteville reported the dramatic accident and warned others against reckless driving at high speed.

Six Marion County Men Arrested in Edwin White Murder Case
Sheriff John V. Rowell arrested Tom Turner Archie Turner Mack Turner Henry Turner Kinard Cannon and Kinard Cannon's father on murder charges in the Edwin White case. The body was found in Little Pee Dog river with a bullet wound and plow irons attached by wire. Detectives work focused on circumstantial evidence and neighbors of White. J. W.
