South Dakota Republicans Nominate Bennett for Third District Judge
Frank Conklin of Clark names John E Bennett as judge from the third district at the state convention. After ballots Bennett leads with 262 votes, Melville 142, Poindexter 43. Bennett nominated and made unanimous. A five member committee is appointed to notify nominees and arrange tonight’s presence.
