San Francisco October 26 A million dollar case involving 30 000 acres in Humboldt county goes to the United States circuit court of appeals. The United States sues the American Lumber company and Central Trust company in equity alleging fraud in locating timber lands by about 200 men and securing them with a trust deed to the Central Trust company to back bonds.

The Knapp roller boat was tested at Toronto on October 25 showing under perfect control but its cylinder plates broke under full speed. Gabriel Golden Wedding Marks 4 Generations of Family

Mr and Mrs Augustus K Gabriel of Lyons Iowa celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Eight children, fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren attended. The couple, German natives, were shipwrecked en route to America, met in that country, and married upon arrival. The husband is 76 and the wife 75.
