For the quarter ending September 30 the Huron land office reports 251 original and final entries totaling 40 669 acres and land sold of 1 879 acres. September activity includes 37 original homestead entries and 12 final timber culture entries, with 529 acres sold. The peak quarterly business occurred in July.
