The bids opened at department headquarters Mort Snelling follow Moore’s circular. Seventy nine remains will be placed in pine boxes and sent to Fort Abercrombie Lincoln Cal for interment in the military cemetery. Port Abercrombie was abandoned eight years ago and the grounds were neglected until exhumation. Fifteen bids were received ranging from 387.50 to 32 765 with lowest from McCarthy and Donnelly of St Paul at 150 per interment and 870 for all.
