Chas S Whiting was nominated for Judge of the Ninth Judicial circuit by acclamation after a brief speech. Local boy’s eye operation funded in Rochester
Wm. Ritschlag reports the Coates boy had successful surgery in Rochester Minnesota. The operation prevented blindness, with total cost $50 and 63 cents returned to donors. Ritschlag commends timely action and notes $150 raised to send the boy, while the right eye sight is restored and the left eye remains permanently impaired.
