Cavour St Patrick's Day Festivities End with Supper and Dancing
Citizens with Huronians enjoyed St Patrick's Day in Cavour. They attended a hall entertainment with a farce musical and literary numbers and a minstrel show. A drawing contest followed and a supper was served at the adjourned school house, then dancing continued late.
Not Guilty for Winters in Beadle County Assault Case
Jury returns a verdict of not guilty for M M Winters in a Beadle county assault case claiming self defense to protect property. The Baddeley tenants alleged assault, but the court sided with Winters. Other cases, including Nels Nelson and August Meyer, were dismissed or fined for Grand Jury questions.
