Official proceedings show the Huron South Dakota board auditing and allowing numerous bills for salaries seed wheat coal and pauper support. A motion adjourns to meet March 7 1895 with witnesses per diem and salaries recorded and resolutions granting tax sale certificate adjustments adopted.
The Pittsburg district miners strike is in full force with about 15 000 men out. Monongahela mines near Allegheny City stopped after a barge load was completed. Reports say over 21 000 are on strike district wide, while about 1 300 remain at non striking mines.
Notice of foreclosure due to nonpayment on a mortgage dated December 27, 1898 held by Catharine E. Schuman against Young and Laura E. Young. Sale set for April 24, 1895 at 2 PM at the Beadle County courthouse front door, Huron, to satisfy $900 principal $28.48 interest $9.69 taxes and $10 attorney fees. The property is described as parts of section 29 township 113N range 61W Beadle County.
The state of South Dakota Beadle County informs Wm. C. Packard that land in section one, township 109 north range 65 west was sold for 1891 taxes to R. O. Richards. Washington March 8 The official last congress appropriations are not yet released but expected to be close to 496 million for the session. Combined 1895 and 1896 totals may reach 938,230,685 with 492,230,685 for 1895. Treasury estimates placed next year revenue near 476,907,407 risking a possible 19 million deficiency. Later estimates raise revenue projections.

Describes Southwest quarter of section six township one hundred nine north range sixty three west fifth principal meridian sold to RK O Richards. Redemption allowed within sixty days from notice. deed to purchaser upon expiration.
Notice states that west half of southwest quarter of section four in township one hundred of the fifth meridian was sold to R O Richards for 1891 taxes and assigned to the New England Loan and Trust Company which is now the holder. Redemption expires sixty days after service of this notice and a deed will be made to the company if not redeemed.
The notice details the sale of the northwest quarter of section twenty seven in township 109 north range 65 west, with the certificate of purchase assigned on December 19, 1892. R O Richards held the tax certificate later assigned to the New England Loan and Trust Company which intends to deed the premises unless redemption occurs within sixty days after service.
Beadle County notices R O Richards held a certificate of purchase for the northwest quarter of section 20 township 109 north range 64 west. The certificate was signed over to New G Land Loan and Trust Company and redemption must be made within sixty days from service to avoid a deed to the company.
The Commissioner of School and Public Lands announces public auction of unsold and unleased school lands in Beadle County.
