Numerous travelers pass through Huron this week including Dr. McGarvey Mrs Eckhart and Robert Dunn from Miller and Hu ron residents like J J Cason and Rev J P Anderson. Meetings concerts and inspections populate the frame as locals head to Wolsey Mitchell and Sioux Falls while Indian school students pass through en route home.

Mrs Nicholas Boos died Sunday morning at 78 after a long illness. Born in Dreyer Germany she lived in Ohio Iowa before moving to South Dakota. She leaves husband and two sons Fred of this city and Edward of Minneapolis. Funeral at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the house conducted by Rev Anderson. The Huron Te sends sympathy to the family.

Municipal rules limit yard fountains to six hours daily between April 1 and November 1 unless granted by City Council. No hose may be used without a nozzle not exceeding one half inch diameter. Rentals due semi-annually May 1 and November 1 with a $1 re opening fee if water is shut off for nonpayment within 10 days. Lawn sprinkling allowed 6 9 am and 6 9 pm on Sundays only. weekdays 9 am to 6 pm prohibited.
The secretary of state awarded contracts for state printing after a close bidding. First class went to Hipple Printing Co of Pierre, second to State Publishing Co, third to John Longstaff of Huron, and fourth to J. McLeod of Aberdeen despite competitive bids from Grown Saenger Sioux Falls Aberdeen Printing Co Yankton Printing Co.
