Longtime Beadle County resident E J Ohr dies at home
E J Ohr one of Beadle County's oldest residents died at his home in the city after a short illness. Born February 26 1823 in Funkston Maryland he was 85 years three months and nine days old. He came to South Dakota in 1883 and settled near Alpena later moving to Huron where he lived for 14 years. He married Leah Rohrer in 1844 and leaves several children. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
