Artesian Wells Bring Water to Spring Valley Farms
Last week Wmn. Patrick tapped artesian water at forty feet on A. A. Powers farm in Spring Valley, with a flow second only to T. B. Buchanan. The next morning A. W. Bacon began work and soon had a reliable supply at ten dollars. Lou's well is thirty-eight feet deep, and Peter Nelson near Swan Lake hit a 100 foot flowing well. Water losses occurred through squirrel holes during ditching. Spring Valley farmers praise the location and its stock friendly climate and markets.
