Bond Granted For Frank Blume Amid Opposition
County commissioners approved the bond for Frank Blume despite Rev F H Richardson challenging the license on grounds that no saloon may operate near a church or school. The objection cited Huron College’s presence in the Huronite building. The decision was not unanimous and the law for these cases remains strict with possible court review.
