The advertisement from Exuron South Dakota announces a special sale starting December 16 and continuing into January. It claims the lowest margins and best selection as BoottH offers low prices.
Four men held Morgan and Sherin's cashier on Quincy Street at 4 a.m. and took $4,000 after two guards blocked the front. Four employees Baer Dale Keefe and Roberts were present but forced to remain quiet while the robbers emptied the safe. A separate note from Milwaukee reports case against Koetting in court. Federal grand jury indictments target Van Leuven the Lime Springs pension attorney.
In Milwaukee on December 20 a public session of the South Side bank wreck case of cashier Koetting was held in municipal court. Circuit Judge Clementson of Grant county presided as Judge Walker had called him to the case. The defense argued the judge should not preside and objected to Judge Walker’s authority, asserting prejudice and improper substitution.
P James former Anaheim bank president is arrested on two grand jury indictments for embezzlement and perjury. Cashier H V Herr also arrested on perjury indictments. Perjury charged for sworn statements to bank commissioners. Bail was given.
Six masked men broke into William Thomas's house in Alliance Ohio, bound him his wife and son, and escaped with 175 dollars. A second burglary at W D Williams house followed with a robber pointing a revolver at Williams while others ransacked the home taking 300 dollars and valuable papers.
San Francisco report says Chris Hanson formerly postmaster at Poplar Ia was arrested here by Postoffice authorities on December 20 for alleged misconduct related to mail handling and duties.
In Brule Wisconsin on December 20 a hunter named Shorty Eastland was chased by at least twenty gray timber wolves in nearby woods. He fired at and killed two wolves during the escape.
An Associated Press correspondent reports Louise Michel at her East Dulwich residence denouncing the French government for fusillades and praising Valliant's action. She says she entirely approves of Valliant's course and reforms.
The Beaver Falls Methodist parsonage burned completely when a gasoline stove exploded in the kitchen. A lantern toppled beside the stove and caught flame. The hired girl escaped through a window and raised the alarm.
Special Agent Dixon of Illinois is enrolling the Winnebago Indians in Wisconsin. The tribe in this state numbers about 1,300, with most living in the county. Annuity per capita is about $19, providing a substantial sum for heads of large families.

Invested lands total 4,051,495.18 and tax collections for 1892 1,150,175.96 while 1893 receipts reach 2,121,095.63. The actual state debt stands at 1,971,306.89.
Washington December 20 The president sent to the Senate the nomination of Wayne McVeagh of Pennsylvania to be ambassador to Italy.
North western Miller reports Minneapolis elevator wheat stocks at 1,007,000 bushels, up 18,000 from last Monday. Total for Minneapolis and Duluth reaches 21,783,525 bushels, with country elevators at 6,620,000, lifting Northwestern total to 28,408,525 bushels.
Philadelphia dispatch reports Roberts Adams Jr former minister to Brazil elected to Congress in the second district to succeed the late Charles ONeill. Democrats offered no nomination amid a strong Republican leaning with some backing for Prohibition candidate M J Griffin.
