Three Men Die In Manitoba Train Derailment Near South Shore
An east bound mixed Manitoba train derailed two and a half miles east of South Shore. Engineer James P. Haines and fireman John Kilnahan were killed along with brakeman Rooney. Conductor John Blake survived serious injuries and walked two and a half miles to get help. Haines, about 45, leaves a wife and four children. Kilnahan was unmarried. Rooney on his first trip.
