Senator Pettigrew Visits, Local Gossip, and School Honors
The piece notes Senator Pettigrew's recent arrival and upcoming trip to Washington, with local chatter about hospitality at the Trambower home and a humorous doorbell spree by Asher Pay. It covers church revival topics, a surprise party for Prof. Hood, and a Hitchcock man’s absent minded watch tale. It ends with a ghostly Washington anecdote involving Charlie Ambrose and Secretary Hoke Smith in the Mitchell Republican.
