Weather Crop Bulletin South Dakota Sept 7 1894
The week was cooler with copious showers across much of South Dakota soaking ground several inches. Crops mostly lighter than expected with millet flax corn and oats failing in the eastern region though late planted millet and corn revived. Haying resumes in some areas, prairie hay poor, fodder corn and millet cut for feed, pastures improve and fall plowing possible though acreage will be limited.
