Local dispatch reports H. G. Bowman a noted Cedar Rapids attorney and father of Mrs. T. Parker died Tuesday while en route to Pierre. Citizens are advised to wait and understand the political scene before backing candidates. The Metropolitian Dining hall proposed a first class opening and W. T. Love downsold to C. Joines. Pierre welcomes cheap Chicago freight at seventy five cents per hundred. The Library Association plans a benefit at the Rink Opera House Monday to fund new books as the library becomes a permanent institution.
