Weary Vendetta and Local Moves Highlight Huron Notes
Northward moves and arrivals populate Huron society as Chief Engineer Blunt and Rev. Geo A Cressey travel north, Melville E Stone visits, and various locals return from voyages or relocate. A dramatic tale of a Thames Rhine clash concludes with a planned duel on July 30 1886, while others attend lodges, schools, and church duties.
For Sale Cheap Second Hand J. Case Steam Thresher
A fragmentary newspaper item advertises a used J. Case steam threshing machine for sale via A. Bartlett in Cavour D. T. It includes stray notices about a staged duel and unrelated local real estate transfers in July 1886 plus an ad for Acker's English Remedy and a shoe sale at Huron Boot. The readable text mixes modern ads with a dramatic riverbank duel anecdote and stocky local notices.
