West Virginia Guardsmen at Port Benjamin Harrison Indiana will break camp this evening and reach home Sunday. The First Regiment Band impressed. the unit performed a sham battle and the force travels home in four trains. Local notices mention church and anniversary events in Adamsion Methodist services.
The annual gathering of West Virginia Christian societies concluded at the Christian church in Wheeling. Plans were made to meet next year in Parkersburg. Resolutions praised Virginia Hall for leading music and J W Yoho for his service as recording secretary, with thanks to local newspapers for coverage.
