SANTINSTON Sept 13 Charles Smith was arrested here today by detectives charged with taking part in the lynching of Walter Johnson at Princeton. He was hurried away for fear of rescue by his friends. It is reported that probably seventy one arrests will be made with some of them here today.

Two Men Sentenced in Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Case
Augu st Pomerenge of Sand Patch and Harry Bennett of Barbour county were each sentenced to ten days in the common jail for misconduct on railroad property at Glen El& m. Pomerenge was arrested by J A Campbell for attempting to steal a ride from a train. Bennett, drunk and disorderly, was detained by the game officer. Justice W P Camp imposed the sentences Wednesday.
