Wesleyan Defeats Pittsboro in Muddy Five Inning Tilt
Wesleyan and Pittsboro played a rain soaked five inning game at Union Park with heavy showers and a downpour delaying play. Wesleyan struck first in the first inning and added two in the fourth and two more in the fifth to win, while Pittsboro scored once in the fourth. Weather ruined much of the action, and both teams will meet again Saturday at Buckhannon. Attendance 1,200.
